Welcome to the Guardianship Board SA

What does the Guardianship Board do?

The Guardianship Board may have a role when a person is unable to make certain important decisions for themselves due to having a mental incapacity. Mental incapacity can have many causes, including dementia, intellectual disability, brain damage, mental illness, and coma.
